AviSynth 2.5.6で一部のプラグインの動作に不具合が発生する可能性 †

（2005-10-30 00:12:13 追記）AviSynth 2.5.6aがリリースされました。今回の経緯については、niiyan/2005-10-29にまとめ直しています。詳しくは、niiyan/2005-10-29を参照。

なお、このページの内容には不正確な内容も含まれていますが、そのまま残しておきます。

AviSynth 2.5.6は、一部のプラグイン使用時に想定外の結果が発生する可能性があります。このため、現在（2005-10-28 23:16:08）、AviSynth 2.5.6は、SourceForge.net: Project Info - Avisynth rev. 2からダウンロードできなくなっています。

AviSynth 2.5.6を使用中に何らかの不具合に直面した場合は、AviSynth 2.5.6 RC2 以前のバージョンに戻すか、数時間中にもまもなく再リリースされる予定の新バージョンをインストールしなおしてください。もしくは該当するプラグインを使用しないようにしてください。

もし、すでにAviSynth 2.5.6をインストール済みで何の問題も起きていない場合は、そのまま使用しても問題ないようです。影響を受けるのは、ごく一部のプラグインに限られます（niiyan/2005-10-28を参照）。

ただし、今後もプラグインの不具合が起こらないとは限りませんので、念のため、アンインストールすること新しいバージョンが出たら、をインストールし直すことをおすすめしますインストールし直したほうがいいでしょう。またAviSynth 2.5.6のソース（avisynth.h）は、すでに修正版に差し替えられています。プラグイン作者のみなさんは、ご注意ください。

  • （2005-10-28 23:47:23 追記）: AviSynth 2.5.6 RC2も、AviSynth 2.5.6と同様です。新しいバージョンを待ったほうがよさそうです。

  • （2005-10-29 02:36:44 追記）: Avisynth_256_src.zip内のavisynth.hは修正版に差し替え済みです（niiyan/2005-10-28を参照）。おもにavisynth.hとプラグインに影響する問題であることを明確にするため、一部の文章（2段落目と4段落目）を訂正。

    The AviSynth 2.5.6 release has a corruption at the end of the IScriptEnvironment vtable and has been temporarily withdrawn from distribution.（AviSynth 2.5.6リリース版は、IScriptEnvironment vtableの最後に改悪があり、ディストリビューションから一時的に取り下げられています。）


    Any pluggin compiled with avisynth.h from version 2.5.5 and prior (i.e just about all of them) using the following calls (fortunatly almost none) may have unpredictable results :-（AviSynth 2.5.6以前のavisynth.hでコンパイルされた、以下のコールを使用している、いかなるプラグインも（すなわち、それらのほとんどすべては）、予想できない結果をもたらすかもしれません :-）


    IScriptEnvironment::SubFrame()

    Will need to be recompiled with the avisynth.h in the replacement version 2.5.6 available shortly.（まもなく利用可能になる、代替版の2.5.6のavisynth.hで再コンパイルされる必要があるでしょう。）

  • この問題は、avisynth.dllではなく、avisynth.hに影響します。このため古いavisynth.hと一緒にコンパイルされたプラグインにも影響することになります。

    The problem doesn't affect the dll itself (so for the user there isn't any difference between the old and the new one), but it affects avisynth.h (and thus certain plugins compiled with the old avisynth.h).

  • Avisynth_256_src.zip内のavisynth.hは、すでに修正版に置き換え済みです。インストーラー版を置き換える理由は、このソースと適合する実行ファイルであることを言うためとのこと。

    ... the main file to pull was avisynth.h in the source .zip, I have already done this, repaired it and replaced it. The reason to replace the installable version is just to say that this is the executable that goes with this source.

  • avisynth.hの42行目と738行目が変更になっているようです（ほかにもあるかもしれません）。42行目のAVISYNTH_INTERFACE_VERSIONが、3に変更されています。
